‘Love Me As I Am – Gay men reflect in their lives’ is a project that holds a very special place in the hearts of every man involved, and is a testimony of how strongly they feel about making a positive contribution to the larger gay community. Meet the creative team behind the book:

Ade Adeniji –

Ade is one of the Co-Founders of The Quest. He is a Facilitator, Coach and Organisational Consultant. A graduate of the Hoffman Process, Ade is also an ordained Interfaith Minister & Spiritual Counsellor.

Darren Brady –

Along with Ade, Darren is the other Co-Founder of The Quest.He trained as a Coach at The Coaches Training Institute, has his own coaching and leadership consultancy and works in particular with people diagnosed with HIV and volunteers for the YMCA’s Positive Health scheme.

Francois Lubbe –

As a previous participant of The Quest Workshops, Francois is continuously involved in the project and is responsible for collating and editing all content and contributions for Love Me As I Am. He has a degree in the Theatrical Arts, a diploma in Graphic & Web Design and works as a full-time editor and writer in London. In his twenties he worked in collaboration with the Johannesburg Youth Theatre and the Windybrow Theatre, in South Africa, producing workshops on AIDS awareness and Sex Education that traveled to rural areas of the country. Today he is passionately involved in campaigning against homophobia and bullying.
